These Mini Medallions feature handmade triskeles and jumping hares (choose from the drop down menu) surrounded by rustic textured borders. In Iron Age Celtic Britain hares were revered as one of the most sacred animals. They were a sign of good fortune and were believed to have connections to the Otherworld. Triskeles were thought to symbolize the spiritual, physical, and celestial worlds as well as the inevitable cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
They have secret brass crescent moons on the back and hang from 18" sterling silver rolo chains. If you need an extender added please email me directly after checkout.
The Hare Medallion pictured is available and will ship right away. Triskele production time is up to three weeks.
