Shop Policies

Please have a good read through the policies before making a purchase. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact me here. I am currently not accepting any custom orders.


Payment

Prices are either listed in your home currency (for certain countries) or Canadian dollars (where my shop is located). Prices will display in your local currency at the current exchange rate. Your payment provider may charge additional conversion fees for orders outside of Canada.
I accept payment plans for items that have been in the shop for over a week. Please send me a message for more details.


New Collections

The shop is usually updated either monthly or bi-monthly with new collections - the date and time of release is always announced beforehand both on the homepage and on social media. I do not take reserves or pre-orders for these releases to keep it fair to everyone. Some pieces go very quickly on release day so I recommend you have and account set up with your payment details saved for a faster checkout.


Shipping Info:

If an item is unfinished or made-to-order, they have to either be made from scratch or finished in the buyers size so please allow up to four weeks production time and your item will ship once finished (accurate production times will always be on the listing).

All purchases arrive gift wrapped with personalized thank you notes. If you'd like a gift message included please contact me after purchase.

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. It is a legal requirement for me to state the correct item value on international packages. 

The below estimates are the expected times AFTER I have packaged and sent your order. I am a one-woman business so packages are usually sent within 5 business days after purchase if they are ready-to-ship.


Shipping Estimates - Canada & US
 

Standard shipping - Expedited Parcel (free) - usually takes 4-7 business days.

Xpresspost (extra charge) - takes 2-3 business days. Please email me if you'd like to upgrade to this option.

Both options include tracking and are fully insured.

 

Shipping Estimates - International Orders

Expedited Parcel ($20 CAD) - should take 6-10 business days but delays are common (see below).

Xpresspost (extra charge) - should take 4-7 business days. Please email me if you'd like to upgrade to this option.

Both options include tracking HOWEVER they are only insured up to a value of $100. Insured shipping for anything higher than $100 costs considerably more - around an extra $30-$40. I will not refund the difference if you haven't upgraded the insurance amount and your package is lost in the mail. If you would like your item to be fully insured please contact me immediately after checkout and I will send an invoice via Paypal for the difference. 

Covid-19

Shipping estimates have been drastically impacted by Covid-19. Please expect long delays. The tracking number may also fail to update. International packages may take over a month to arrive but please be patient. Once I have posted your item there is nothing I can do to speed up the process.

 

Lost/Stolen/Damaged Package

I cannot be held responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged in transit as once I drop them at the Post Office they are out of my hands. If enough time has passed and you haven't received your item please contact me and we can file a report.

If your package arrives damaged please take photographs of the damage and contact me immediately to begin the claim process. Most shipping services will not provide compensation for claims that are filed too late.

 

Returns/Refunds

All sales are final. I accurately photograph and provide as much information as possible on every item, therefore I do not accept returns in the event something is the incorrect size or is no longer wanted. Please ensure you know your ring size before purchasing - most jewelers will provide this service free of charge. 

 

Incorrect Addresses

In the event the address provided on checkout is incorrect, I will not refund or replace the item. If the item is returned to me, it is the buyers responsibility to pay for new shipping costs.

 

New VAT laws for UK/EU

I am still able to ship to the EU however the buyer is responsible for all VAT and import duties to be paid on arrival. Please understand I can't estimate how much these will cost and it is your responsibility to find out and pay these to your postal service before you receive your package.

UK customers - I am currently only able to sell pieces with a value of £135 or greater as any items cheaper than this I am required to collect and remit VAT on your behalf at the time of sale and I currently don't have the time to sort all that out. If a UK customer buys a piece with a value less than £135 I will have no choice but to cancel and refund your order.

Any shipment over £135 can be sent under the premise that you will pay the VAT and duties applicable on arrival into the UK. Again, it is your responsibility to calculate and pay these before you receive your package.

PLEASE do not buy if you're not willing to pay these fees on arrival. Any packages that are refused before delivery will return back to me and I'll be charged for the postage. This will be hugely damaging for my little business. As a result I can no longer offer free shipping to the UK/EU. Shipping amounts are calculated at checkout (in Canadian dollars).

 

Resizing/Repairs

Please contact me in the event you need an item resized or repaired. Some rings can only be sized up around half a size, and can almost never be sized down without potentially damaging the stone and setting. Shipping costs both ways are the buyers responsibility. Proper jewellery care instructions can be found here. I will not replace or refund an item that has been damaged beyond repair. I only offer repairs or resizing for items of Kura Kura Jewellery.
