These Celtic Hare Medallions were intended to be similar but not the same. They both feature a handmade triskele at their center which symbolizes life, death, and rebirth. Around the triskele are three hares chasing each other in rotational symmetry, with three rose-cut garnets in between. They are surrounded by rustic textured square wire.
They hang from 18" sterling silver rolo chains that have a 2" extender if you want to wear at 20". If you need a different chain length please email me directly after checkout.
Hares were sacred animals to Boudicca who would release one from the folds of her dress before battle as a form of divination. Whichever way the hare ran determined whether she would win or lose/ fight or delay.
